Responsible for managing all aspects of the customer’s day to day business assuring communication to customers, product cost, quality and achieving targets with the support of the cross-functional teams.Accountable for all operational aspects of the program (receivables, ECO costing, excess and obsolete inventory, material and manufacturing status, etc.Interface with the customer being the first-line contact for customer to handle any requests and issues.Generate program budgets and manage within agreed allocations.Responsible for quarterly/annual customer revenue projections and for ensuring sufficient contractual order covers are in place.Tracking and claiming to customers NREs (PPV, tooling, freight/expedite, excess & obsolete, scrap).Formulate, organize and track customer NPI tasks and actions and provide customer feedback metrics.Conduct meetings with cross-functional teams, document action items and keep team apprised of customer concerns.Review pricing and all changes with finance and support sales and marketing.Coordinate quoting activity for changes to existing products or new business from existing customers.Support MRB analysis and disposition of non-conforming material processes.Responsible for assure that inventory is accounted for and planned accordingly.

-Full responsible for innovation, research and development department which involves product design area, projects, prototypes and testing laboratory. -Projects management and leadership involving people from Tunisia, Portugal, Germany, USA and China. -Interaction and technical support to staff, customers, suppliers, sales and corporate.-Creation of R&D team&laboratory&designs from scratch for Americas region.-Design of lay out, furniture, equipment, machinery and accessories for lab testing acc. to automotive and UL/CSA specs.-Creation, follow up and accomplishment of dept. capex.-Coordinate the validation and implementation of BOMs.-Introduction/launch of new developments/products and projects using timeline, Gant chart, budget and milestones assuring all required information, specifications, tests, etc. are received on time and that projects/products are designed, produced, tested and approved acc. to the latest specifications.-Review and approve deviations to the product as required.-Responsible of prototypes area and warehouse: Finished product, semi-finished and raw material.-Coordination and cooperation with other R&D sites worldwide for new developments, which involves also continuous participation in global engineering meetings in Portugal. -Development and launching in Mexico of new materials (compounds and metal) for product improvement and redesign.-APQP process for new products. -KPIs follow up.

-Manage and lead all activities for engineering department including the launching of new products/projects in time.-Engineering changes, APQP, PPAPs. 5 S.-Create and keep updated the engineering in the system.-Coordinate the validation, maintenance and implementation of BOM’s, routing and master data for products and process set up.-Responsible of prototypes area and improvement projects.-Development of metrics and robust engineering processes.-Contact and follow up to suppliers regarding process improvements (automation, fixtures/pokayokes design, creation of visual aids and departmental procedures, efficiency improvements, scrap reduction).-Plant layout.
