Strategic transition project: from direct management by the owner to managerial management.

After the creation of a single company, the consolidation and development phase began, focused on the redesign of internal processes, the consolidation and development of new markets and products and the integration of the teams of the different companies that have cryogenic and superconducting technologies as a common factor.Results obtained in the period:- Redesign of engineering processes, introduction of PLM and integration in order management from purchasing to project management, creation of integrated project teams- An HR succession plan was created after covering a generation gap (25 % of people at the end of 2022 have less than 5 years of seniority in the company)- Consolidation of the medical market, increase in MROpen sales , new framework contracts with IBA ( proton therapy ) and Siemens Healthineers (UHF magnets for research)- Continuous improvement of MgB2 technology which led to the achievement of the first complete projects for technology demonstrator cables, strategic transition from being wire producers to being able to offer complete cable systems (IRIS project with INFN and European project SCARLET)- V ACCES project consortium for a new types of energy storage system for Vessels- Balance sheet from 2018 with net profit always positive and growing ( €0.9m in 2020, €1.2m in 2021, €1.8m in 2022, best consolidated result since 2006)

I joined the company in the role of CEO of ASG Superconductors SpA and the two subsidiaries at Columbus Superconductors SRL and Paramed Medical System SRL.The main objectives achieved in this first period are: - reorganization with unions agreement and reduction of structure costs by 14%- Project for the merger by incorporation of the two subsidiaries into ASG Superconductors SPA completed- Start up of the HR function by inserting dedicated resources and the development of related management policies- Creation of the Supply Chain function (Purchasing, Warehouses and Project Management) for the efficiency of contract management, reduction of current assets and procurement lead times, diversification of suppliers, implementation of KPIs related to the function-Improvement of the economic results by returning to the group's profits - Completed the development of the MgB2 wire by CERN's order which opened the door for the company to develop direct current power transmission cables.

Responsible for the performance of the company as dictated by the board's overall strategy.Reporting directly to the company's CEO and member of the board.Responsibilities include:- formulating and successfully implementing the company policy- direct strategy toward the profitable growth and operation of the company- developing strategic operating plans that reflect the long-term objectives and priorities established by the board- putting in place adequate operational and financial control systems and closely monitoring results versus budget and plan- assuming full accountability to the board for all the company operations ( HR, production , safety & environments , supply chain , purchasing , quality and product development , engineering , finance , commercial and IT ) where commercial and IT are managed in coordination with the HQ.- representing the company to the major customers and professional association- building and maintaining an effective executive team

PURPOSE : coordinates ans encourages the development of innovative products worldwide , leading the product development process and the techical strategic repositioning of the company in the power generation businness , providing managment support and applying commercial/business strategies.MAIN RESPONSABILIETES:- Lead the product development process optimizing product development / performance ratios , supporting in plant technologist and define the priorieties by plant in terms of development necessity , coordinate the work of engineers , managing the development of technical and scentific resouces and assessing the feasibility of manufacturing with Technical Query.- to propose production cycle changes and investments in order to imporove the competitiveness of the company in the market- Analyzes market and technology trends , contacting / networking with customers- Provide assistance on complex products to technical sales

PURPOSE :Implements quality policies and programs in the region , ensuring compliance of plant operations with company policies. Provides technical assistance during the production cycle.Validates quality requierments and technical specifications of customers and performs followup on external audits.MAIN RESPONSABILITIS :Oversees communication and implementation of quality assurance and quality control policies and objectives , including certification , metrology and quality audits.Oversees verification and control of quality levels of manufactured products.Responsible for customer satisfaction on the quality of products and services.Oversees laboratory and nondestructive testing processes.Responsible for production and metallurgical process at the plant and for ERW product development in the region.Complies with company policies , procedures and managment standards , and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.Proactively motivates, coaches , communicates with and develops his/her staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resourses norms and procedures.

PURPOSE:Manages production activities , ensuring products are manufactured on schedule and in compliance with quality standards and cost objectives.Responsible for achiving scheduled product volumes and process improvments in terms of cost , quality , organization and safety.MAIN RESPONSABILITES:Ensures optmization of production resources and fulfilment of quality standards participing in the design , elaboration and control of company quality policy.Ensures fulfilment of cost objectives according to estabilished budget.Oversees fullfilment of investment plans coordinating with Engineering the implementation of approved investments.Oversees continuos improvement projects , define the scope , priority and the target of the projects.Ensure a safe work enviroment by controlling and implementing preventive safety and security programs.Ensure the observance and respect for the consumption targets/goals and promotes its improvement , considering actions on employees' behaviour , defining all the appropriate intervantion that aim to optimize requiered energy and reduce the consumption waste.Responsible to manage the relationship with the unions in the plant regarding plant load , organization' changes and optimization.
