-Advanced Quality Engineering responsibility for New Product Introduction (NPI ) and Supplier Quality Engineering responsibility for current production.-Plan, implement and support manufacturing capability assessments of potential new global suppliers and strategic sub-suppliers of electronic components. Involve regional resources as appropriate.-Perform technical review and audit of supplier manufacturing processes and quality systems, and monitor supplier improvements and corrective actions.-Ensure suppliers conform to AEC Q-XXX part qualification procedures and process requirements.-Provide active participation and cooperation with engineering concerning product development strategies and implementation.-Engage with multinational suppliers and various levels of management to coordinate/implement effective and timely resolution to quality issues.-Responsible for supplier performance-Determine part critical characteristics and required process controls-Provide technical expertise and assistance to improve supplier quality systems-Implement and monitor the part qualification and certification process with selected suppliers-Function as a liaison between Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier to resolve quality issues and to provide technical support-Improve quality performance of suppliers through structured problem solving methods and coordinate/implement effective and timely solutions-Review & approve supplier PPAP Documents utilizing standard APQP and PPAP methods-Maintain required documentation and files

Control of quality issue related to the supplier, validation of problems on machining and heat treatments parts, providing feedback to the interested party. Special knowledge on engines of internal combustion and gearboxes. - Non conformance report. I was in charge to create the non conformance report to the supplier, sending an official notification with the complete description of the problem and the technician report with the complete details of failure. -Corrective actions (8D's). I was in charge to evaluate and to ask more details (in case needed it) for any corrective action taken by the supplier at their facility, if all the information was in order and also if the action taken are able to solve the problem, I was able to close the issue. - process audits (VDA). I audited the process of some suppliers on their facilities (PSW, PPD & Bocar) at the end of the complete process I shared to them the results of the audits and some comments to improve the results on the next time, for any nonconformity an action plans was requested to be implemented during the next days. -PPAP´s I was in charge to evaluate the PPAP parts and all the documents related with it for any new part for model 2017 (Commodity Iron and aluminum) Full PPAP level 3, they were released in less that 10 days. -Machining parts. I work directly with the one external supplier (BRP GK) that provides to us machining parts in iron, in this case I am incharge to evaluate the structure and the form of the part to avoid issue on the production line. For any new procces I ask details to validate the part can be use on the production. - High pressure die casting I have working with supplier that provides pieces manufacture under the method of cold chamber die casting, reporting and asking solution for problems related with machining process (roughness out of spec, flatness problems, and porosity).

Support on production line for quality concern, implementation of corrective actions to solve customers’ complaints, keeping a continuous improvements of the production process able to establish containments activities to ensure the quality of the product.. -Corrective actions. Corrective actions were implemented to solve customers complaints, using the form 8D to record all the activities performed to close the issue. All the activities were evaluated to validate a second offence will not happened again and all the activities were closed in less than 30 days. - AMEFDs. I worked as a part of the team that update the AMEFDs during the pilot run, I represented the QA team during this activity providing opinions and advice during the production. -Control Plan. I was in charger to update the control plan when every new specification or engineering change -Works instructions. I was in charge to create the work instructions acoording with the control plan and the procces FMEA. -Costumer satisfacction. I was in charge to reduce the quantity of customers complaints using the method of problem solving 8D in a period of 6 month we were able to reduce the quantity of complaint in 13% -Statistical process control. Some characteristics of the process were under statistical control to warranty the functionality of the part (According with the customer requirements). -Pilot Runs. I worked as part of the team during the pilots runs of a new line (Poyect P-truck of FORD), during this activity i recorded every inccident to perfomerd correctivea actions,. - lessons learned. During the pilot runs a document with all the issues detected during the tryouts was recorded, this with the objective to share this information for future projects for te same family products I was in charge to record the problems. -Injection moulding. I was in charge to create a book of plastic defects for the injection moulding process.
