As a Power End Market Director, I'm focus on the Renewable generation: Solar, Storage, Wind Onshore & Offshore and Hydrogen, and conventional generation (Nuclear, Thermal, ...) but also all related to Transmission and Distribution of energies markets by defining the division growth strategy in terms of services portfolio, geographies, clients and inorganic opportunities. By leading our global business development team, we provide multi regional/country tender lead, commercial support & marketing. In addition, we cover market-monitoring trends, including pricing and competition landscape and, in continues mode, optimizing service operational costs to improve quality and profitability by incorporating new technologies and solutions around drones, remote inspections solutions, artificial intelligent, data science, 3D scanning, digital twins, all that through a new open innovation process based in a corporate venturing structure with a stromg technological watch initiatives.Others: Obtain, maintain and optimize accreditations and administrative authorizations, technical representation (Associations, events …), developing new products and know-how management.

Main functions: Lead the business development and international marketing strategy, both organic as inorganic, coordinating as necessary with Operational Managers, Business Line Managers and VELOSI organization and any other Applus Group divisions; Ensure the proper functioning of all international trade within A + Norcontrol and ensure the proper implementation of international projects from the point of view of compliance with legal, tax, labor, EH&S, ...; Lead the M&A process (Merger & Acquisition) form the analysis and evaluation of potential intl acquisitions, coordinating with Business Line Managers and the Corporate Business Development; Acting as the main Focal Point for international trade relationship with Applus Velosi network and other Applus Group Divisions; Commercial Coordination with the Key Account Manager for the international development of those Customers; Leading the international marketing strategy in coordination with the Department of Marketing and the Business Lines; Institutional / international business A+ Norcontrol Representation Outdoor (Associations, Forums, ...) - Main target: Develop the geographic presence of A + Norcontrol abroad, both organic and inorganically.

Inside of this duty I have covered 2 positions: One as a Focal Point for Norcontrol Division to our 2 brother Divisions, Applus RTD (Europe, US, Canada & Australia) and Applus VELOSI (Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa), with which we have a lot of synergies, mainly on the Oil & Gas and Power Sector; And second as the Norcontrol International Business Manager for the Mechanical/Industrial Inspection Business Unit. Main Targets: Supporting our Spanish clients with international needs and to exporting our services worldwide using or supported by those Divisions.

As a R&D Manager my job has focused, at first, on the design and implement the Innovation Process for the Applus NORCONTROL Division, which start with generating ideas and ends in investment returns evaluations.My duties as R&D Manager can be described as: Enhancing the generation of ideas, helping ripen and aligning them with the strategy of the Business Unit or even the Company, assisting in the creation of developmental projects and following up and reviewing the results. Once projects are completed, and during a period of time, we assess the return on the Innovation investment. In addition to the above we support the process with “Technology watch”, “Competitive Intelligence” and researching for external funds (Innovation EU, Spanish or local Subsidies) It is important to remark that, our Innovation Process is quite focused on improving or creating new services that would help increase the value of our company.
