Skills: Deep background in techniques for growing and differentiation of mouse and humanpluripotent cells (induced pluripotent stem cells & embryonic stem cells). My researchbackground is related to the role of Nitric Oxide signaling on the regulation of pluripotency anddifferentiation in mouse embryonic stem cells, as well as mechanisms for induced reprogramming of human cells as a system for disease modeling.Global research interests: My research interest is focused on epigenetic mechanisms that control cell fate transitions during reprogramming and differentiation to pancreatic phenotype.Future plans: My most immediate plan is focused in applying my scientific knowledge and background in stem cell research on academy or industry and pharmaceutical companies as well.
