Sérgio is a seasoned Operations Manager with nearly three years of experience in the UK Asset Management industry.He oversees various operational tasks for two companies, such as reporting transactions to the FCA reconciling trades, stock positions and cash producing daily risk reports performing EMIR reconciliation monitoring and booking dividends into the relevant system and verifying NAV fund reconciliation.Before joining the Asset Management sector, Sérgio had a long and successful career in Banking, spanning over 17 years He started in Banco Popular SA in 2004 where he was responsible for client account management, mortgage credit analysis (from the initial credit score of the client, through liaising with real estate appraisers, to the final signing of the property acquisition deed and mortgage) and deputy directorship of a bank branch In 2018 he moved to Banco Santander, where he gained experience in commercial Client Portfolio Management and Deputy Management of a branch.Sérgio holds a degree in Management from the School of Economics and Management ( of the University of Porto. He has also completed several executive trainings, such as AML, Market Abuse monitoring and Anti Bribery for UK Firms, from RQC Group Negotiation from ESAD Mortgage credit and MIFID II from Santander’s Academy.
