As consultant, my responsibility consisted of working together with the customers guiding them towardsthe best solutions to their issues using their GIS Smallworld customized framework, as well as designingand developing tools to make more useful their system.Clients and projects:Vodafone NZ, Telecommunications.System: PNI 3.x- I was part of the analysis and design team for the system and data migration from the 3.x version to thecurrent SWAF (4.0), performing a systematic study of the system, tools and the current database- Support of the system, specially focusing on corrupted data or integrity issues in the databaseVector, electricity and gas distribution companySystem: Smallworld 4.0/NRM Electricity- Support of the system, in permanent contact with customers to solve the issues related to the systemtools and data- Design and implementation of an interactive tool to detect and correct corrupted data (geographicaland topological errors) for the different electric networks (low voltage, high voltage...)- System and data migration from 4.0 to 4.2WeDoIT, internal development- Part of the development team of the LatLonGO tool, a lightweight mobile GIS focusing on work fieldteams for utility companies (telecommunications, electricity, water...)- Supporting the development of internal tools, such as web applications or other SIG related systems(ArcGIS, QGIS)
