I’m part of the Applause uTest community in which I have been freelance functional testing Web and Mobile applications for Windows, Android, and iOS. Some of the apps include Android Pay, Pizza Hut, Quick Thoughts, Acceller, Youtube, Crackle, etc. There is no test case creation but the execution of already defined test cases or exploratory testing to achieve the same goal, finding bugs.

During 6 years at Jenkon working Remotely, on a waterfall and agile methodology, my responsibilities included 1. Reviewing requirements, specifications and technical design documents to prepare for testing. 2. Create test plans, test scenarios, test case script writing. 3 Deploying code to QA environment from Jenkins and MS Azure. 4. Perform manual testing, test case execution, regression testing, functional testing, integration testing, system testing, exploratory testing, smoke testing, mobile testing in Android and iOS emulators. 5. Plan and coordinate testing activities documenting software and application defects using tracking systems such as: JIRA, MS Team Foundation Server, MS Test Manager, and Redmine. 6. Write and execute intermediate SQL statements to review data results in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. 7. Cross-team collaboration to identify system testing requirements. 8. Triage defects and report on defect impacts. 9. Perform Rest API testing using Swagger, Postman and SoapUI. 10. Used Selenium web driver and core Java to automate some of the regression testing

Responsibilities were 1. Reviews requirements, specifications and technical design documents to prepare for testing for a web application named j6. 2. Plan testing activities documenting software defects using MS Test Manager and Redmine. 5. Write and execute intermediate SQL statements to review data results in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. 6 Cross-team collaboration to identify system testing requirements. 7. Triage defects and report on defect impacts. 8. Perform API integration testing using SoapUI.

I was responsible for creating and executing manual test scripts for an OS Upgrade on Mainframe, AS400 platform. I created the test scripts from some business documentation that was available but mainly from doing exploratory system navigation. I documented the test scripts and bug reports using Excel. Also, I was responsible for mentoring the less experience testers.

Activities consisted on creating and executing manual and automated test scripts for the Smart Buy application on the Ariba platform. I used Quick Test Professional (QTP) for writing and executing automated scripts using the play and record feature of the tool. I Documented test scripts and bug reports using HP Quality Center. Other activities that I had were on updating test scripts in HP Quality Center for the PCard application that HP uses for processing payments.

In this project I was trained on Unix/Linux OS and formed part of theInfra-Enabler team that supported the Enabler application of AT&T. Activities consisted on setting, monitoring, and supporting the different environment (Testing, Developing, and Production). We used weblogic as our web server.

Strategic Supplier Management System (SSMS) testing. The project was part of IBM’s Application Services, Procurement e-Services. I was assigned to creating and executing test case for SSMS. I used the Rational Team Concert tool for project repository and documentation of test cases as well as results for either manual or automated tests. I also had the chance to use Rational Functional Tester to automate test cases using the play and record feature of the tool.Contractor Sourcing Application (CSA) testing. The project was part of IBM Application Services, Procurement e-Services. I was assigned to creating and executing test cases for CSA. I created test scripts from functional requirement using Rational Quality Manager (RQM). Then I manually executed the test script following the test case design. I also documented results in RQM and created and tracked bugs reports
