Director Automotive Software - Autonomous Driving
I lead a team of very talented engineers and together we are revolutionizing the automotive industry using NVIDIA's best-in-class Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions. Located in Gothenburg, Sweden, we work with OEMs, Tier 1s and startups to make autonomous driving a reality.
We are currently focused on getting SAE Level 4 trucks on the road (full autonomy in defined conditions). We are leveraging NVIDIA's latest state of the art hardware including the NVIDIA Drive AGX Xavier and Drive AGX Orin systems-on-a-chip (SoCs), the NVIDIA Drive AP2X development platform (the successor to the Drive PX2, a super-computer for AI on AV vehicles) and the NVIDIA DriveOS and DriveAV autonomous driving SW stacks on our partner's vehicles. The system is connected to an array of high resolution automotive grade cameras, millimeter wave radars and various lidar technologies to perceive the environment and control the vehicle safely. We make use of high definition maps, as well as high precision localization based on sensor information.
We are also breaking ground in the field of end-to-end system validation for autonomous driving.
We deployed the NVIDIA Drive Constellation and DriveSim solutions at scale with our partners. This allows us to drive millions of miles in a high-fidelity photo-realistic simulation running real time on a hardware-in-the-loop system, simulating the challenging environments and scenarios that the system might encounter in the real world.

I am responsible for the Bosch automotive video business in North America. This includes profit & loss responsibility for all current projects of computer vision front cameras, surround vision systems and rear view cameras. Customers include the Detroit 3 but also U.S: west-coast based car manufacturers. Applications include Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Automated Driving.
Project Director Camera Systems - Mono And Stereo Video Systems
I was responsible for all pilot projects of the mono and stereo video cameras at Bosch. I lead a taskforce oriented project organization incl. project teams for customer projects as well as generic platform development. My team was composed of 20 experienced team leaders and project managers. Further 200+ employees were allocated to the projects.The major challenge was to ensure the series introduction of the first customer projects of the Bosch video cameras with such an important innovation degree and a tight project schedule.

Engineering Driver Assistance Systems - Stereo VideoLeading a team of about 40 engineers, I was responsible for the development of a new forward looking 3D-capable camera for driver assistance functions such as automatic emergency braking on vehicles and pedestrians, lane departure warning, road sign recognition, automatic high beam control and much more. Development included hardware and software development, as well as testing and validation. I was also responsible of achieving the first series introduction of the camera with a renowned automotive manufacturer.

As responsible manager for the office of the president Bosch Chassis Systems Control (12.000 employees, 5 billion EUR yearly sales) I was responsible for:- Coordinating the board meetings of the divisional board of management and the group's board of directors.- Preparing speeches, presentations, interviews and analyses for the president of the division- Developing proposals for divisional strategy regarding policies, products and regional growth.- Driving Merger and Acquisitions projects and restructuring activities (e.g. reduction of fixed-costs in product engineering, etc.)

Associate Researcher - Structural Dynamics & High Performance Computing - Bosch Corporate Research
I worked as part of Bosch's Corporate Research staff in the headquarters in Gerlingen Schillerhöhe, Germany within the Structural Dynamics and Acoustics department. I implemented non-linear finite element solvers and complex numerical contact models, to simulate mechanical systems in the frequency and transient domains. The simulations ran on high performance compute clusters either running Unix or Linux, most of the solver and contact element programming was done using FORTRAN and was integrated onto 3DS' Abaqus FEA solver.The main application was complex eigenvalue analysis which was then used to simulate vibrations in different automotive components.
