Sergio Bellotti moved from the south of Italy to the USA in 1995. Very active inthe music scene of Boston first and as a worldwide clinician/performer, Sergiohas recorded and/or shared the stage with Mike Stern, Wayne Krantz, TomScott, Bob James, Robben Ford, Rocco Ventrella, RobbenFord,Nathan East,JamesMontgomery and Dan Siegel among others.He currently plays with fusion ensemble Spajazzy(Two Cds featuring Mike Stern) and co-leads a Duo with Percussion Virtuoso andRemo Signature Artist Alessandra Belloni.Sergio performs weekly with WeJazzUp! as well as with many others localmusicians and visiting artists in the Boston area.Sergio is the founder of the successful “Do You Speak Drumming” programwith allows him to travel to Italy up to 4 times a year for clinics/MasterClasses and concerts, and gives an opportunity to international students toexperience full immersion one-on-one lessons as well as life in the musicscene of Boston filled with jam sessions, clinics and much more.Sergio has been teaching part-time as a regular visiting artist at the GM drumschool in Torino and the Conservatorio Della Svizzera Italiana in LuganoSwiss.As a session studio musician he has been very active in the contemporary Jazzscene providing tracks for Gio Lombardi, Rocco Ventrella, Jas Miller as well as rapperPula+ and many moreSergio has taught drum set at Berklee College of Music since 2002, writes forDrumClub magazine in Italy, and, as a worldwide clinician, has performed atthe Montreal Drum Fest (available on DVD), Cape Breton InternationalDrum Fest 2004, 2005 and 2006, Berklee World Percussion Festival '05 andat PASIC '05 and '09 in the USA and PASIC '06, ‘07 and 2010 in Italy as well asKOSA Usa from "10 to '13, KOSA Italy 2011 and was the MC at theJoe Morello Tribute Concert held in Italy in 2011.www.sergiobellotti.comSpecialties: Performance,Education,Retail and Consulting (Drums,Percussion and Self Promotion/Marketing skills for musicians.
