Biomass valorization through thermochemical treatments such as pyrolysis, gasification and combustion, mainly through thermogravimetry and pilot plant with fluidized bed reactor. Study of the kinetics of high temperature biomass reactions using thermogravimetry, optimization of process parameters and product analysis. Comprehensive analysis of fractions obtained in a pilot plant: bio-oil, as a biofuel with high added value, pyrolytic organic gases and biochar, as a solid with very interesting characteristics at an industrial level.

The professional practices in companies of an industrial nature and related to chemical engineering, aim to put the student in contact with the work environment to which the Master in Chemical Engineering at the University of Salamanca is focused. The daily experience in the Acenorca S.C.L. table olive dressing plant, during a period of 2 months, allowed to put into practice the knowledge acquired throughout the Master, on quality management of the process in general. Among the activities carried out during the internships were the continuous monitoring of the olive packaging process, monitoring of discharges and water in the process, continuous monitoring of equipment involved in the process, measurement of control parameters, as well as quality parameters. of the final product, know the legal regulations applicable to the discharge of water and the application of occupational health and safety.
