Growing up in poverty in Newark, NJ, as a first-generation immigrant, I didn’t have many opportunities. However, despite the odds, I became the first college graduate in my family, an aerospace engineer with a Ph.D. degree, and a quantitative researcher at prestigious financial institutions.The amount of challenges I had to overcome, to get to where I am today has been tremendous. My success is difficult to repeat because luck played a role. Reflecting on my experiences, I realized one of my biggest wishes is to create a level playing field for everyone to compete, an equal opportunity for the underdogs. Thus, my next endeavor is to build a platform that brings the world closer to this dream. This platform will enable anyone to prove their financial analysis abilities and investing skills and launch outperformers into new and rewarding careers.

A turbine component which is given to engineers with more years of experience. • Implemented Computational Aided Design (CAD) based design with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to design and analyze 1st stage gas turbine blades for improved performance and durability. • Developed an in-house tools suite to substantially improve the turn around time of a gas turbine blade design. • Implemented design and optimization with the use of the in-house tools suite developed by General Electric Energy and myself.• Obtained 5 patents along with fellows General Electric Energy engineers for our contributions to gas turbine blade cooling designs.
