I, amongst other tasks, developed an application to interface BT back-end systems with a legacy Fujitsu system used by terminals in Post Office branches.This role features exposure to the full development life cycle in an Agile environment. Main field of work has been on CRM applications.Latest project features a portal built by means of Spring 2, Struts 2 and Hibernate.

I designed and developed an application for the automation of payment of parking. The application seamlessly allows a registered user to use a parking space without having to perform any other operation than driving his car. Access to the parking and collection of payment is all taken care of by the application embedded in the telecommunications network. I played a key role in the design and development of this cutting edge project for what concerns the registration to the network. The user client interacts with the network server by means of SIP, the same protocol used in VoIP calls. Client side and server side programming has been performed. Development work started from an IMS architecture prototype previously realized by CoRiTel. The whole architecture has been updated to support the new SIP specifications. The SIP Client and the Presence Server has been modified not only in the capability to support those new SIP specifications but also to support the parking application. In order to do this a mechanism to parse XML has been integrated both client and server-side. Moreover, while the SIP Client has been enriched of a mechanism to show information inferred from XML into graphic interfaces, the whole parking logic described above has been integrated in the Presence Server.
