My unique deep holistic end-to-end perspective and knowledge - from technology, content, design, and strategy - has given me the opportunity to build products and platforms that redefined industry standards with an emphasis on advanced media, video, and emergent content solutions. I can do this due to my creative and inquisitive approach and deep hands-on experience of all sides of a product. I enjoy and excel when thinking of solutions that do not exist today to fulfill our user's needs and opportunities; invent and expand to unknown and unexplored spaces; and challenge myself and my team to the highest standards.I believe and live in the intersection of technology and product development. My whole career has focused on building bridges and breaking walls between commonly separated disciplines.I have led and managed multidisciplinary teams of journalists, designers, developers, engineers, marketing and business managers to create media products, strategic plans, and business opportunities utilizing novel technologies, storytelling platforms, rich internet solutions, streaming video, and mobile devices. As a Ph.D. researcher, I managed the Experimental TV Lab at Georgia Tech where we created forward-thinking and influential industry research and prototypes for interactive tv/video applications, tablet devices, video game consoles, and touch tables, with partners such as the AFI, Turner, History Channel, MTV, Alcatel-Lucent, & Cisco.
