• Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team acting as the project manager responsible for the design and deployment of the Smurfit Kappa Fortaleza's new plant greenfield project, including the conception, layout study, process and equipment, documentation and purchase of the land, licenses, engineering projects, construction, installation, and startup of the new plant. 60k sqm terrain and 19k sqm of building area;• Plan and manage the CAPEX project, to ensure that the project is carried out according to agreed objectives, quality, time, cost, specifications, OH&S and environment protection requirements;• Lead the CAPEX project through the definition phase, for the preparation of the feasibility study, the tendering and contracting activities, and the development of the project realization phase up to the startup, commissioning, and performance tests.• Function as arbitrator and resolve all technical and non-technical related project matters which are subject to disputes in the project team and/or between contractual partners;• Present to project steering committee any deviation in project scope, schedule or budget, with recommendation as case requires.

• Responsible for creating the Product Development department at SK Fortaleza Plant including all the department facilities (building, cutting table, show room, lab, department processes);• Product development process mapping and integration with the company ERP;• Support and coordinate the technical aspects of engineered packaging solutions, using ArtiosCAD and other technologies, including but not limited to working with teams to determine available materials and manufacturing capabilities.• Collaborate with commercial teams, clients, to diagnose packaging problems and implement improved solutions and cost savings;• Prioritize, manage, quantify, track, and report all assigned projects;• Record packaging material attributes and specifications;• Finalize die lines for Graphic build within ArtiosCAD;• Operate cutting table - cut and assemble CAD samples and mock-ups• Continuously improve existing methods and processes to facilitate efficient delivery of high quality and timely products to customers.

• Deployment of the TOP10 in Operational Excellence project for Pirapetinga, Uberaba and Fortaleza plants and elaboration of the interface process from Trimbox to TOP10.• Process mapping using Microsoft Visio;Optimization and reduction of available paper grades for Pirapetinga, Uberaba and Fortaleza plants;• Optimization of spreadsheets for process control and production reports, for both Pirapetinga and Uberaba plants, using VBA programming and advanced formulas in order to increase the spreadsheets automation level, shortening the analysis time;• Created the Smurfit Kappa Brazil’s Practical Guide to Cardboard Boxes;• Coordination of projects from crucial areas of the plant in order to hit the goals for the company’s growing reporting directly to the Industrial Director;• Elaboration, along with the industrial manager, of the annual production budget for both Pirapetinga and Uberaba plants;• Improvement of the order, cleaning and safety internal audit, by designing a new score methodology, better stratification of audited areas and results presentation;• Training and coordination of thirteen projects for improvement throughout the areas of the production plant using quality tools, such as the Problem Solving Analysis Methodology (MASP);• Implementation of projects for production process improvement, like reduction of the changeover time, reduction of production costs, reduction of machine downtime and better use of manpower;• Follow up of internal controls and production indicators, such as OEE, quality, machine stoppages and team performance;• Non conformity analysis and action plan implementation;• ISO 9001 auditing as a member of the internal quality audit team.

Design, using AutoCAD 2D and 3D, of steel structures and equipment for shoring, scaffolding, temporary work platform, cargo lifts and structures for individual and collective protection;Management of the assembling team for installation of the structures and equipments at the construction site; Technical evaluation at construction sites to define the best solution to be implemented;Inspection of the structure to see if it meets the project specifications and elaboration of the project as build.
