Sergio Kotsovoulos is a Film Director and Set Designer with vast production experience on set and in post production. As a director and set designer Sergio has worked on various tv shows and television commercials for the major production companies in Greece.“Echo” a Greek/Iranian/Canadian animated short film directed and co-produced by Sergio premiered worldwide on the 4th of December 2021 at the Los Angeles Animation festival, winning 2 awards, the “filmfest award for excellence” and “silver character based short”. In the films three year run in the festival circuit echo has screened in over 90 festivals and has won over 25 awards and 15 nominations, including 3 Canadian screen award qualifying 2 Bafta qualifying and 5 Academy award qualifying festivals.From 2014 till August 2019 Sergio was a part of the multi disciplinary/multi award winning bureau WITHIN in Athens Greece.Sergio is an ASIFA Hellas founding member and an ASIFA Hollywood Annie awards voting member.
