I am an impact focused student at the University of Texas McCombs School of Business, and I am studying in the Canfield Business Honors Program. I am pursuing a double major focused in Management Information Systems with a minor in Finance. Under my belt I have two summer internships at McKinsey & Company which have provided me with an unparalleled learning environment. Through these summers I have grown in my problem solving, analytics, Excel, PowerPoint, collaboration, ideation, and client communication skills. Having been on client facing projects, I have taken on workloads that have contributed to impactful savings, client development, and continued client success.Prior to my time at McCombs, I gained experience in retail when I worked at Chick-fil-A. I began my time there as a Team Member, and in my subsequent two years of employment, I was promoted to Certified Trainer and then Shift Leader / Manager. Through my time at Chick-fil-A, I was able to train and develop the newly hired Team Members in the practices and policies of Chick-fil-A, enabling my coworkers to work efficiently and provide excellent service. Furthermore, as manager I was able to lead the restaurant in efficient daily operations, both the Front of House team and the Back of House kitchen team. I was able to help in English-Spanish translation and several times facilitated conversations between workers and the Owner to overcome the language barrier. Lastly, as manager, I gained valuable skills in doing nightly money balances and ensuring that deposits and transfers were in accordance with our daily numbers.All of this experience in retail, the corporate environment, and school have afforded me the opportunity to grow in both my hard and soft skills. I am excited to see what the future holds for me, and I feel more than prepared to be able to excel and drive impact no matter where I go.
