Hi! My name is Sergio. I have worked in advertising for 13 years, and what I love most about this industry is creating online and offline brand experiences. That’s where the fun is!I began my career as a planner, and after two years, I won a Silver Medal at Cannes Young Lions. This achievement led me to start over as a copywriter. I have worked at various agencies, including Mullen Lowe SSP3, where we won D&AD’s Black Pencil of the Decade and the first Titanium Lion for Latin America. In 2013, SSP3 was named Ad Age’s International Agency of the Year, which was memorable.After a year at Mullen Lowe London, I returned to JWT/Glue, where I had started my career, but this time as Executive Creative Director (ECD). I had the opportunity to work with amazing clients like Nike, Coca-Cola, Netflix, and Mastercard. JWT/Glue was recognized as Colombia’s Best Activation Agency in 2016 and 2017, and we celebrated the agency´s first Gold Lion at Cannes.I then joined Colombia’s largest agency, Sancho BBDO, eventually taking on the role of Chief Creative Officer. This was a valuable challenge, as Sancho was named Colombia's most creative agency for the first time and maintained the title of Most Effective Agency for three consecutive years at Effie Latam.Now, I am embarking on my next chapter at VML USA, the world's most creative credentialed commerce company. VML was recognized as Agency of the Year at D&AD 2024, and I was also ranked as the 9th best Creative Director. Additionally, I have served as a jury member at Cannes Lions, New York Festivals, Young Lions Colombia, Wave Festival in Rio, and La Vara in the Dominican Republic.
