 Administered the government travel charge card program comprising of 14,000 card holders, while also functioning as the approving official for organizations defense travel system.  Wrote and initiated implementation of policies, procedures, and standards for charge card program. Oversaw managers internal control program and yearly statement of assurance submission to Headquarters Marine Corps, identifying issues relating to material and organizational weakness.  Trained Senior Managers and representatives on the responsibilities of the managers internal control program.  Supervised and mentored 25 Marines while organizing all training and administrative requirements.  Instrumental in instituting a systematic process for the collection of financial data relevant to the centrally billed account, resulting in greater accountability and accuracy of budget information.

 Responsible for advising the Commanding Officer on Matters relating to unit readiness and personnel welfare. Coordinated the scheduling between unit sections and external agencies regarding facility usage. Responsible for training, development, and performance of all personnel assigned to the academic’s instruction unit. Responsible for seamless and uninterrupted operations of academic instruction provided to 20,000 recruits annually. Supervised and evaluated academic instruction periods to recruits. Ensured that recruits were tested and evaluated in accordance with directives. Coordinated and supervised lesson plan evaluation periods ensuring material accuracy and relevancy.  Supervised the integration and changes to all academic classes for recruits.  Responsible for briefing civilian academic work-shops and visiting dignitaries on matters relating to academic content, training functions, and training outcomes.

 Responsible for coordination of all work-requests and contracts with the Public Works Department, and various civilian entities.  Coordinated proposals and contracts worth over $438,000 with civilian contractors.  Identified, coordinated, and implemented a work-request tracking system for the supply section. Identified, coordinated, and implemented a vehicle tracking and dispatch system for the supply section. Identified, coordinated, and implemented a request and tracking system for incoming tasks into the supply section in order to create efficiencies and organization.  Responsible for coordinating and expediting the ammunition support process from cradle to grave, assisting the unit’s ammunition dependent courses.  Responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the utilization of all maintenance resources.  Advised on all matters related to equipment maintenance and the impact of the unit’s maintenance effort on equipment readiness.  Conducted quality maintenance management training for seven maintenance commodities.  Supervised the requirement and procurement of new equipment.
