- Provided counsel to the Loras College Board of Regents Diversity and Inclusion Committee- Planned and organized campus wide programming on topics including but not limited to racial identity development, gender identity, queer identity, etc.- Redeveloped Intercultural Programs Office student space to better reflect diverse student identities and experiences leading to over 2,000 student visits in the Spring 2017 semester compared to 300 students who visited the space in Spring 2015Collaboration- Worked with Enrollment Mangagemet to create and begin recruitment of incoming first year students for the First Generation Scholars Program which awarded 30 first year students with $1500 in additional scholarship funds to students who are the first in the family to go to college and showed financial need - Worked with Student Life and the First Year Experience in integrating Intercultural, Diversity education programming for all first-year student allowing for over 300 students to attend learning opportunities on campus related to race, gender, feminism, religion, class, etc. - Ongoing planning with Athletics Department in creating an Inclusion Professional Development Series and Inclusion passive program for student athletes and athletic coaches and staff- Assisted Enrollment Management with recruitment of students of color in the Chicago and surrounding areas by attending fairs and reaching out to students throughout thier application process- Updated and Formalized application process and financial expecations for students with undocumented or DACA statusStudent Involvement and Leadership- Co-advised the Loras Alliance (LGBTQIA+ student organization- Advised the Loras Intercultural Student Association - Advised the Black Student Union- Co-advised the Loras LULAC Chapter

 Oversee Muir Hall, first year residence hall for 279 students in the College of Science and Mathematics Supervised and provided ongoing development to 5 resident advisors  Advised 15 students in the Inter-Housing Councilo 10 of these students were responsible for programming initiatives within the hall o 5 of these students were responsible for diversity, inclusion, and social justice initiatives in on-campus housing Coordinated and presented at resident advisor training for Fall 2015 o Topics included academic partnerships and skills, social identity groups, and residential curriculum implementation Collaborated with Academic Excellence Team (included college dean, associate deans, academic advisors, and college career counselors) o Planned academic events in the halls including advising drop in hours, career preparation presentations and workshops, class scheduling advising, faculty office hours, etc. o Coordinated banquet with Academic Excellence Team in honoring Muir residents who achieved a 3.5 gpa o Recruited and coordinating linked courses with faculty to hold classes within the residence hall building (focus on Calculus, Chemistry, and Biology) Served in the Awareness Committee for University Housing o Coordinated and presented ongoing professional development for University Housing team on topics including identity development, White fragility, White savior complex, undocumented students, race and cultural identity development, LGBTQA+ identity development o Coordinated “In Our Home” campaign focusing on the words and actions student’s use to help minimize the accidental marginalization of traditionally underrepresented groupso Established “Quarter Talk” Series throughout on campus housing focusing on global and domestic issues concerning politics, social movements, language use, gender identity, etc.

 Oversaw 4 summer conference camps with residents ranging from elementary children to high schools students  Supervised 8 resident assistants and 1 assistant complex director and ensured all staff members persisted successfully in their roles through the academic year Coordinated all programming and community standards initiatives in Johnson Hall, an all first-year student hall for 284 studentso Community development plan focused on improving education attainment and EBI satisfaction on social justice/ diversity initiatives by focusing on a leadership figure and the following learning outcomes: Engagement, Respecting Differences, Responsibility, Faculty Interactions, Leadership, and Civic Engagement and Community Service  Residents in Johnson committed 526 hours in program attendance or participation from September-November 2014 in fulfillment of education curriculum o Johnson Hall was named Best Residence Hall Community by NRHH for September 2014 Opened Johnson Hall after being offline for one year due to remodelingo Ensured all 284 students had appropriate number of furniture prior to move-ino Provided appropriate signage throughout the hall for common areas, bathrooms, lounges, study rooms, recreation rooms, and laundry roomo Coordinated student preference for new furniture layout throughout the common areas and study lounges in Johnson Hall o Communicated all remodel issues and shortcomings to Assistant Director of Facilities in Residence Life Coordinated and planned resident assistant training (Winter 2014) and camp (Summer 2013-2014)o Developed training sessions on topics including but not limited to New Resident Assistants, Conflict Mediation, and Privilege and Responsibility
