Leader of energy and chemicals manufacturing area team (25 technicians and engineers working in 5 shifts) since mill startup. Design production: 1.300.000 Adt/year.Area equipment:• Chemical recovery boiler: 1000 ton/h steam production at 95 bar (g), 5700 tons/d of processed chemicals and biomass, 1 biomass boiler and 2 fuel oil auxiliary boilers.• Backpressure and condensation steam turbines: 2 x 90 MW.• Demineralization plant, evaporation plant, compressors and chillers.Duties:• Planning, coordination and control of area processes. Storage and consumptions balance coordination.• Safety and Environmental performance according to world class standards. Safety proactive program execution. Energy and wastes reduction program.• Production, quality, costs and other KPIs achievements of the area. • Maintenance coordination and mill annual shutdown planning. • Processes and operations improvement. Root cause analyses execution.• Capital Projects development and execution coordination.• Managing and development of area staff and direct reports from collaborators.• ISO 9000, 14000 and 18000 systems of the area. Performed at Poyry Offices in San Pablo, together with main suppliers (Andritz, Valmet, Siemens, etc.) and Senior project engineers from Stora Enso and Arauco. • Engineering development, Contract negotiations and management of responsibilities between different suppliers. • Leading and collaboration in different technical analyses for processes selection, suppliers’ evaluations, risks evaluation, etc.• Collaboration in permits authorizations with related company departments and interactions with National and International organizations such as Dinama, Ursea, Ute, World Bank, insurance companies, etc.• Detailed engineering follow up of signed Contracts.

Detailed engineering and Schedule negotiations with supplier (Siemens, Germany).

Coordination with customers and sales staff of projects (mechanical equipment production and erection). Production and erection supervision.
