As head of operations I'm the senior manager that controls Agrumaria Reggina’s operational activities and I make sure the workforce is productive. I oversee the work of other managers and employees and guarantee that every department is operating properly and efficiently. I manage all aspects of the Technical function within a division and I oversee the operations of the logistics department. I'm responsible for the entire transportation supply chain, managing business relationships. In this role in particular I need to be self-starter with initiative and drive. The position hold a key role in updating technologies and automation levels, engineerization of existing and new processes and restructuring manufacturing organization, thus achieving productivity enhancement.

As Operations Director of Togni, a bottler company leader in the sparkling wineand water market, I reported directly to the CEO. The position I held includesresponsibility for three production plants (one dedicated to the production ofsparkling wines and two to the production of water in glass and plastic), forthe entire distribution network (consisting of the factories' warehouses andtwo external warehouses), for the management of industrial investments andfor all quality aspects of the company. In the this role I coordinated theentire activity of the production sites, having as direct reports the managersof different departments. I therefore managed the activities of the productionplants (equipped with 6 production and beverage packaging lines) ensuring theprogramming and implementation of production plans in compliance with theagreed budget, defining the planning of the loads of work and procurement,managing internal and external logistics, ensuring cost control, productquality, compliance with delivery times and the technological developmentof the factories. As Director of Production and Logistics I also dealt with themanagement and negotiation with suppliers of machinery and services to guarantee the correct supply and to catch all the opportunities offered by themarket

In addition to this plan, thanks to the support of financial instruments, I designed in the plant an energy efficiency plan which, based on technological improvement and use of self-produced energy from renewable sources, will lead to an energy saving of over 20% of the production plant needs.

Head of logistics of Conad Sicilia for all kind of products: grocery; non-food; dairy; frozen. I was responsible for several projects on supply chain process and on solution to integrate and support all the company’s processes with IT solutions. Responsible of a highly performing Operations in different sites in the sales territory. Reporting to the General Manager, the L&IT Director is responsible for Logistic & Warehouse, IT, Project Management, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Engineering and , Quality, EHS functions. The L&IT Director Manages more than 200 employees and about 20 M€ of Budget according to the budget.

Assures equipment reliability to maximize production lines productivity, implements process enhancements to improve package and flavor changeover efficiency. Utilizes visual factory concepts to maximize a set utilization and plant performance and builds the capability of plant supervisors and technicians. Tracks standard manufacturing and warehouse measures and prioritizes plant maintenance opportunities and maintains P&L responsibility over maintenance cost centers, repair and maintenance, maintenance labor, utilities and capital improvement plans.

Works closely with supervisors and maintenance staff to plan work, set targets and make sure the finished products meet quality standards. Plans and developes new products or production processes and assists with professional development and training of production staff.
