In the past decade I worked in business, engineering and experimental research around the world. At heart, I am an explorer with a curious mind and a passion for shaping the future of my professional field. I am currently working on disrupting high speed suborbital transportation with hypersonic autonomous aicraft. Together with my stellar colleagues at Destinus I'm building and testing a few stealth-mode prototypes as a systems engineer at several locations in central Europe. Previously, I worked in Machine Learning Research at Carnegie Mellon University and building Spacept, an AI deep-tech company that is disrupting the space data analytics field. After graduating with the highest honour in Aerospace Engineering from Imperial College London I worked in business and consulting, identifying disruptive technologies, in business and consulting. My goal as an engineer is to change the world, to play my part in improving our current technology and enhance humankind’s power to explore. I share Elon Musk's vision of making Making Humans a Multi-Planetary Species because “what we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal” (A. Pike).

Undergraduate Research Assistant (Urop)Imperial College London Jun 2014 - Jul 2014London, GbPerforming mechanical tests on supercooled metal samples at -200 C, I had the significant responsibility in carrying out all the required experiments successfully in the given timeframe. I was in charge of mechanical static testing of supercooled metal samples. Achieving this primary objective involved a number of procedures: sample preparation, design and manufacturing of 3D printed supports, construction of a liquid nitrogen debit control device, safe operation with liquid nitrogen as well as preliminary data processing for the analysis of my supervisor. Finally, I think that the most valuable aspect of my work experience was gaining a perspective on scientific research from the view of the researcher. The exciting possibility of discovering something new that would contribute to the progress of mankind is a powerful motivator. -
