Participation in courses and practical projects in an international team, with the support of the Russian Space Agency. The main focus of the project was learning the design process of nanosatellites starting from conceptualization to manufacturing, deployment, and operation.Subjects approached include: electronic system design, nanosatellite orbiting and attitude control, CAD and FE software suites applied to nanosatellites, the design of GNSS receivers, space navigation, space environment, tether systems, radar and optical remote sensing systems.

Performing mechanical tests on supercooled metal samples at -200 C, I had the significant responsibility in carrying out all the required experiments successfully in the given timeframe. I was in charge of mechanical static testing of supercooled metal samples. Achieving this primary objective involved a number of procedures: sample preparation, design and manufacturing of 3D printed supports, construction of a liquid nitrogen debit control device, safe operation with liquid nitrogen as well as preliminary data processing for the analysis of my supervisor. Finally, I think that the most valuable aspect of my work experience was gaining a perspective on scientific research from the view of the researcher. The exciting possibility of discovering something new that would contribute to the progress of mankind is a powerful motivator.
