Ensure proper operation of compost facility (largest in Canada) with special focus on pressure vessel and operation support systems. Operate and maintain plant boiler. Performed maintenance on belt conveyors, shredders, screening equipment and heavy-duty equipment. Keep track of performed PMs as well as incoming ones, prioritizing order to maintain plant uptime. Contribute to AIM safety system through previous offshore experience. Interact and assist with audits and site inspections.

Advocated the safety culture onboard in achieving 1500 LTI free days through Permit to Work (PTW) training, safety induction for newcomers and visitors, and monthly awareness training. Managed and mentored PTW system on daily average of 40 permits with the highest safety scrutiny. Organized and facilitated in Formal Safety Assessment (FSA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) with onshore headquarters on High Risk Activity and ensured activity was completed within the safety scope with no incidents. Championed safety onboard to crew and vendors as Safety Delegate. Investigated on reported incident onboard and consolidated into the DNV Synergi Reporting platform with all incident investigation concluded within the duration stipulated. Administered Safety Observation Card program with verification of close-out of over 100 cards monthly. Scheduled, executed, and logged all maintenance associated with safety, firefighting, and lifesaving equipment. Assessed and verified chemicals used onboard via SYPOL, a COSHH assessment platform. Coached and supervised vendors on safe management onboard. Responded and coordinated to any emergency arising onboard, including weekly drills. Ensure proper operation of more than 75 production supporting utility equipment. Resolved operational issues promptly and avoided production down-time, resulting in 99.98% uptime, including after-hours emergency troubleshooting. Managed and logged on average more than 200 Maintenance Work Orders monthly. Assigned as Work Responsible Person and System Owner to more than 20 process and utility systems under the PTW System. Ensure proper operation of more than 30 marine equipment in the Engine Room. Observed and intervened as necessary, the process of utility equipment through SCADA in the Engine Control Room. Diagnosed and modified malfunctioned heating medium system controllers to ensure a higher operational efficiency.
