My main responsibility was to make our guests feel at home and to ensure their satisfaction during their short break in the city.After check-in I personally welcomed the guests and gave them information about the city on an individual basis. With presentations I showed them the main places of interest for a first-time visitor, listing the best available sightseeing activities and going out / eating out options.At the same time, upon request, I organised private itineraries for both leisure and business travellers; I had to live up to their expectations and needs. I did this by listening to them carefully and by booking them onto the most suitable sightseeing tours based on their personal preferences.It was my duty to report to the Deputy Manager on issues we experienced while hosting guests, including complaint handling. To ensure excellent service for the future, I reviewed questionnaires our guests had filled out and also I followed the reviews they had completed, raising any points of dissatisfaction with the management, so we could improve these issues to ensure a better service for the future.I was also supporting the process to redesign the website of the hotel group by translating and proofreading the content.
