Manage US operations of international general contractor (ranked 57th of top 250 International Contractors by ENR in 2021) and real estate development firm.Responsible for structuring, business development and overall management of the company.

Responsibilities included management of renewable energy investment projects and the development of green-field projects. Managed 11-member wind energy team: Constructed the 28 MW Kıyıköy WEPP, 30 MW Sebenoba II WEPP and 18 MW Atik WEPP projects (value approx. $100 million)Developed and concluded the procurement phase of the ongoing 12 MW Datça WEPP projectDeveloped the 72 MW Kıyıköy II WEPP extension project and the development of three additional extension projects totaling 25 MWManaged 26-member hydroelectric energy team:Constructed the 81 MW Kozbükü HEPP project (value $120 million, includes a 14 km. tunnel) Initiated and completed the first solar energy investment by Aksa - developed 71 MW PV projects in 2015 and successfully transferred the shares to a third party as part of an exit strategyManaged the operation of 7 wind farms and 2 hydroelectric power plants (295 MW total), managed 140 employees in direct reporting lineAttended executive committee and board of directors' meetings and made periodic presentations regarding the status of various projects

Responsibilities included management, support and supervision of the business development and sales departments, including leadership of organic and inorganic growth through energy project development and acquisition of existing energy companies. Planned, developed and implemented strategic growth plans, conducted market research, identified target companies and power plant projects, performed technical evaluation and financial valuation of such assets, coordinated technical, financial and legal due diligence, reviewed and commented on share purchase and shareholders’ agreements, attended negotiations and coordinated the signing and closing phases of transactions. Day-to-day responsibilities also included preparing for, attending and making presentations at meetings of the executive committee and board of directors, defining sale strategies and supervising sale activities for operational power plants. Led the acquisition of 5 different companies in 5 individual transactions. Supervised the establishment of a JV for the development of 400 MW of PV projects. Evaluated wind, hydro, solar, geothermal and thermal power plant projects in the region for approximately 10 GW in total.

Responsibilities included managing feasibility studies of hydro electric power plants and design phases of thermal and renewable energy sourced power plants, supporting construction management teams and energy trading activities (carbon credits), preparing progress reports for executive management, taking part in negotiations with subcontractors and management of contracts.

Responsibilities included planning activities using IT solutions such as Microsoft Project and Primavera, cost control, monetary estimation and cash flow projections, contract management and executive reporting.
