Business Development & Sales Manager
Responsibilities included management, support and supervision of the business development and sales departments, including leadership of organic and inorganic growth through energy project development and acquisition of existing energy companies. Planned, developed and implemented strategic growth plans, conducted market research, identified target companies and power plant projects, performed technical evaluation and financial valuation of such assets, coordinated technical, financial and legal due diligence, reviewed and commented on share purchase and shareholders’ agreements, attended negotiations and coordinated the signing and closing phases of transactions. Day-to-day responsibilities also included preparing for, attending and making presentations at meetings of the executive committee and board of directors, defining sale strategies and supervising sale activities for operational power plants. Led the acquisition of 5 different companies in 5 individual transactions. Supervised the establishment of a JV for the development of 400 MW of PV projects. Evaluated wind, hydro, solar, geothermal and thermal power plant projects in the region for approximately 10 GW in total.
