Serhat Turan completed his LL.B. at Marmara University in Turkey. He was also a part-time lecturer in Bahcesehir University, Istanbul and teaching Data Protection Law for students at LL.M. in Civil Law. He has been practicing for twelve years focusing on privacy, data protection, tech law and intellectual property law. He is also interested in governence, risk and compliance aspect of data protection practices. He is one of the founding partners of a national GRC Tool called Kybele a tool designed for the governance of personal data in the organisations. Serhat Turan is a Certified Information Privacy Professional for Europe.
