I work to bring digital transformation and innovation to my team. My main objective is to provide high-quality customer-centric services to internal clients at the Inter-American Development Bank. I use technology to improve processes, accomplish efficiencies and improve services. In 2019 I went to Leuven, Muenster, and Tallinn to study for my Master’s in public Innovation and e-Governance. The most important learning was understanding that a digital transformation requires changing minds, processes, and technology. In Ecuador, I worked for three years at the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Society, overseeing multilateral agreements about telecommunications infrastructure. However, the most valuable lesson was that technology could only mean something when correctly explained to citizens and authorities. This is the only way to achieve digital transformation and innovation.
