Led the engineering teams that are responsible for security, extensions and input platforms of the Edge browser. Focus areas include: • Web exploitation trends, blocking RCE primitives and hardening the browser runtime and system components.• Container sandbox for browser tabs/processes.• Flash runtime security and reliability.• Cross-vendor effort to eliminate Adobe’s Flash from web.• HTML based browser extensions platform.• Plugin-free PDF experience in the browser.

Led the engineering team that is responsible for the platform security aspects of the Windows store apps. Focus areas includes strategy, planning and execution to define the V1 security model for Store apps and architecting of a brand-new OS sandbox to match it.

Led a team of developers to build the SOAP/XML web services API for Win32 platform (WWSAPI). WWSAPI has been adapted across few important products at Microsoft such as Office, SharePoint, Windows Azure and Windows Update services.

Delivered design/code in various Windows system components such as smartcards, cryptographic service providers, credential manager, authentication protocols, user logon, boot, shutdown and UAC.

Built internet banking and e-commerce solutions integrating backend systems with rich web experiences.

Built CRM modules in PASCAL/C/C++ to meet the operational needs of small to medium-sized businesses in Turkey. The product featured accounts, order processing, invoice processing, inventory control, production planning, etc. I was the only developer working on the product, and we managed to reach a customer base of 50+ businesses shortly after the first release.
