Implementation Director at OpenTent

As the resident Salesforce and performance management expert, I provided direction, vision and methodologies for the critical performance management system built on the Salesforce platform. I oversaw reporting, and created and delivered comprehensive reports, dashboards and presentations on all critical data points. I also managed and train a team of 7-8 Business Analysts, and served as a liaison with the IT department and external partners. Key Projects:Developed and implemented organization’s first performance management tool on the Salesforce platform, using Skuid, utilized by over 200 staff members to measure division outcomes related to individual grants.- Present data on over $15 million in yearly grants to C-Suite team in manner that allows for actionable decision making, converts numbers into opportunities, and highlights challenges/areas of improvement. - Revamped reporting of key indicators, creating a user-friendly interface that cut data entry time by 50%.Spearhead project with JP Morgan Chace Technology for Social Good Team, serving as Project Lead and engaging with two teams at JP Morgan over the last 2 years.- Support the full project life cycle including requirements gathering, creation of project plans and schedules, obtaining and managing resources and budget, and facilitating project execution.Lead the integration of new programs into the division’s existing salesforce database following structural change in division.- Utilize Scrum Agile methodology to spearhead project plan development, execution, progress monitoring, formal project closing and value realization.- Present business mapping to entire division, utilizing data and technology to discuss key deliverables with technical and non-technical staff and executives. In this hybrid role, I managed all IT functions and financial management, for the CISE department. I ran the grant related database, and oversaw troubleshooting and support for all hardware and software. I also spearheaded the grant submission and proposals process, and assisted with budget preparations, managed departmental spending, and prepared monthly financial statements. Key Accomplishments:Prepared monthly financial statements of research contract status for CISE Principal Researchers on 250 accounts, ensuring compliance with federal and non-federal granting agencies policies and regulations. Modified and implemented upgrades to the ACCESS financial database. - Upgrades included writing code, inputting data and documenting system changes. Trained and managed departmental staff and researchers on new technology related initiatives Oversaw mitigation to new grant and financial database tracking system. - Developed and implemented procedures for new database, as well as led training efforts within department.Directed purchasing of new software, gaining consensus of managing directors and maintaining relationships with vendors.

During my period in the Department of Athletics, I provided technical and financial leadership. I directed all projected related to the LAN network, hardware and software, and provided email client support for over 150 end users. I also reviewed, analyzed, balanced and reconciled departmental accounts, posted and analyzed expenses, accounts payable, and cash flow, using the Controlled Analytical Review Application and the Filemaker Pro financial database.Key Accomplishments:Developed and documented all network strategies and policies for the department and assisted with purchase decisions for all PDA related software and hardware. Approved purchase orders and requisitions for the department, working closely with the Columbia University’s purchasing office to ensure compliance with University purchasing policies.Advised and educated coaches on how to understand, read and manage their budgets, and generated monthly FAS reports from the DARTS Financial Reporting online system for associates and head coaches.
