* Developing and implementing the strategy of the category in line with the Company's goals and vision.* The implementation of the new product ranges-selection of the products, pricing and positioning* Continuous analysis of the performance of the current range anf taking the right action plans required* Handling all supplier relations; revisions of commercial terms and agreements for both locals and imports* Frequent supplier, fair and store visits* Working closely with the category marketing, merchandising and supply chain team to implement the category's trading plan* Continuously working on cost optimization and B plans for sustaining the supply of products

* Ensure collections which meet target customer expectations are built and to ensure these collections are sourced with target profit margins, desired quality and on planned delivery date.* Makes researches and gets familiar with target customer expectations, conducts store, competitor store, supplier, and domestic or overseas fair/shopping visits and makes observations; attends customer meetings; reports customers’ expectations/complaints; applies lessons learnt to collections.* Decides on category budgets, design option budgets * Makes range plans appropriate for the strategic plan and customer expectations of the product group of woven (outwears, suits, jackets shirt and trousers).* Follows through the costing process; makes final negotiations and takes order placement decisions* Ensures products are tested according to Aydınlı regulations and comply with ecological standards.* Provides coaching and mentoring assistance in line with his/her reports’ needs, and ensures they develop their competencies and perform their tasks

* Ensure accurate and timely processing of all purchase orders according to Company's standard processes and follow up on these orders with suppliers and requestors.* Manage & develop the day-to-day business relationship with suppliers through supporting activities including ordering, communication of demand/volume/delivery time changes, issue and complaint resolution, sharing of end-user feedback, follow up on backorders, etc. to ensure continuity of goods and services that meet the quality, service and price performance standards of the company.* Develop a strong understanding and knowledge of local suppliers and local regulations.* Serve as first point of contact for requestors and others for operational queries.* Update vendor, material, price and purchasing data in procurement systems.* Help to implement global procurement policies, standards & processes.* General administrative work in support of the Buyer
