Body Analytical Attributes Manager responsible for Vehicle Safety, Body NVH and Body Durability disciplines within Body Exterior team.

- Led a team of around 20 safety engineers to deliver the safety attribute on two all new products.- Responsible for all performance areas including front, side, rear crash, occupant safety, roof crush, pedestrian safety and low speed damageability.- Planned training plans and on-the-job work streams to familiarize the team with new skills (pedestrian safety and low speed damageability) where there were no experiences from past programs.- Led the safety development work to meet legal (FMVSS, ECE) and public domain tests (Euro NCAP, US NCAP, IIHS) requirements as well as internal requirements.- Coordinated all the communication between legal authorities (TÜV in Europe) and Ford’s Automotive Safety Office to agree on the compliance plans.- Been at all phases of the program starting at basic design phase where the concept model is built to launch phase.- Governed the CAE phase to verify all program targets are met within the design, cost and timing constraints. - Managed the issue resolution process when conflicts occur between safety team design requests with other teams (other attributes, ergonomics, manufacturing, etc)- Governed the test phase, where vehicle's safety performance was verified against NA and EU requirements.

- Worked at Ford’s Product Development Center at Dearborn to support the Transit Connect federalization program. (EU Transit Connect to NA)- Involved at the program early stages to determine the update content for the vehicle to meet NA safety requirements. - Co-ordinated the work and information flow between Turkey and US as liaison engineer. Assisted the program as lead safety engineer during the CAE phases, including occupant safety (Madymo) and front, rear crash (Radioss) analyses.- At the test phase, organized prototype builds in Turkey and signed off the vehicles before shipping to US, organized vehicle updates and preparations in US and conducted the tests at US.

Performed high speed crash simulations including front, side and rear crash. Led a team of CAD designers and engineers to model the whole vehicle for Computer Aided Engineering Analyses. Evaluated the vehicle part by part to identify critical items and gave directions to the design team with these outputs. Used the analyses outcomes to improve the body structure design to accomplish legal and company requirements as well as weight, cost, appearance and performance targets.

Worked at CAE team's various disciplines (NVH, Durability, CFD) as a CAE engineer to support light, medium commercial vehicle and heavy truck programs. NVH - Worked in the Noise and Vibration Team as the owner of the vehicle’s noise and vibration attributes. Beat the cost targets and design specifications set by the management team via successful engineering optimization and effective supplier coordination.Durability - Performed structural integrity, fatigue and durability analyses on critical chassis, body and engine parts and gave feedback to design engineers for improvements.
