CurrentI fulfil various capacities as a journalist and broadcaster in DW’s programming department, focusing largely on current affairs from Africa but also on topics pertaining to migration.I work as one of the main radio newsreaders on the "AfricaLink" program, a magazine producer for "The 77 Percent” and a video producer and presenter for the DW Global Media Forum.I also seek out live interviews, write background articles, analyses and opinion pieces. I am also in charge of editing, translating and supervising multimedia content online for various departments and have produced and contributed multiple radio packages to various DW formats including "World in Progress", "WorldLink," "Spectrum" and "Living Planet".I have worked as studio presenter in DW's "Arts and Culture", and as a moderator for the DW Global Media Forum, where I have interviewed figures like Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, Turkish dissident journalist Can Dündar, Human Rights defender Sister Helen Prejean, British-Turkish author Elif Shafak, cognitive scientist Steven Pinker, Israeli-Arab vlogger Nas Daily, and computer scientist Jaron Lanier.In all my work, I seek out new ways to explore the complexities of a globalized and yet divided world.
