Reporting to the VP HR EMEA my responsibilities included: • Business Partner to 650 people located in 10 countries across Europe. • Set up employment for 7 new Guidewire entities based in Ireland, Russia, Poland, Spain, Norway, Switzerland and Holland. • Managed complex employee relations cases, org design & restructure, redundancy, employee handbooks and company policy updates. • Evaluated company culture and designed people programs to enable a positive climate where people can thrive. Including running Culture IQ’s engagement survey and related action planning, lead design and delivery of Europe’s first wellness program. • Lead directors to complete their bi-annual talent review practice and partnered with L&OD on creating talent solutions. I.e. Delivery of the global career mobility program in EMEA. • Launched an agile check-in meeting in place of the annual performance review. Trained managers and employees to own regular performance and career discussions to grow people capabilities. • Supported business with various change initiatives, helped assess, implement and develop strategy that impacted people. For example, shift in Company total reward strategy, eliminating stock options in place of LTI Plans. • Audit and approval of payrolls done by the HR Operations team for 11 countries in EMEA • Led Europe’s Workday implementation, modifying system design as needed to comply with Europe’s varying employment law, custom and practice. For example, work time regulations, data protection, and family leave regulation. • Managed the French Employee Representative (Trade Union) meetings, demonstrated strong communication, influencing, negotiation and decision-making skills to successfully align party goals.

• Provided generalist HR support to teams across the EMEA regions• Provided advices to the management team on the different employment laws and customs in Europe• Partnered and supported all employees and managers with HR policies • Provided HR Business Partner Support to the French employees: manage the new hire orientations, day to day interactions with the French employees, HR support on the employee’s matters (resignation, dismissal, mobility etc.)• Maintained and developed the HR Policies • Supported Global Mobility efforts including immigration

• Provided HR advice and guidance to 200 employees on HR policies and procedures.• Supervised payroll instructions, led induction and exit interviews, conducted monthly and quarterly reporting. Organised learning and development programmes for 200 employees for management development and key skills and competencies.

• Implemented the disability agreement complying with French government law. Introduced legal framework for the integration and established continuous support for disabled workers in private companies making up 6% of the workforce. Achieved by:• Established process and recruited 20 STAFF including Directors, managers, supervisory and administration level staff. • Organised and established relationships with 3rd party suppliers who employed disabled staff for the sub contracting of specified tasks from Danone. • Produced regular internal communications for company intranet, magazine and hosted “disability week” on site attracting guest speakers and activities providing a platform for discussion of disability issues. Represented Danone externally in industry forums, universities and schools reinforcing their commitment to the disability agenda. • Developed and executed training and on-boarding process for new workers; conducted skills analysis and set up training programs to align competencies and special needs between new entrant and working environment.
