I am part of the refurbishment and commissioning team for the Floating Storage and Offloading unit (FSO) previously known as NORDIC BRASILIA, which has now been renamed FSO YAMOUSSOUKRO. This project is a crucial component of the Phase 2 Baleine Project, taking place at the @Dubaidrydock.The scope of our work involves extensive refurbishment and modernization of the FSO YAMOUSSOUKRO to meet the operational requirements of the Baleine project. This includes upgrading existing systems, installing new technologies, and ensuring compliance with the latest industry standards and safety regulations.Key responsibilities include:System Upgrades: Overseeing the installation and integration of advanced systems, including process control, automation, and safety systems to enhance operational efficiency safety.The success of this project will significantly contribute to the efficiency and safety of the Baleine oil field operations, making it a cornerstone for future developments in Ivory Coast.
