Advising is a shared responsibility between an adviser and the student. Ultimately, it is the responsibility of the student to make decisions about his/her life goals by creating a plan to reach those goals.Academic advisers can assist in this process by helping the student understand options, determine resources and, when necessary, identify alternatives.

Adviser ResponsibilitiesAn adviser shall provide assistance in helping a student learn how to make practical academic plans and decisions, how to discover a range of options available to the student, based on the student’s stated goals, and how to think through the consequences of the student’s own choices. Provide help in development of an academic/career plans and pedagogy consistently as per objectives of student’s stated Objectives, Aims and goals, interests and abilitiesExpected Outcomes of Academic Advising:Students will know how and where to access accurate information about policies, procedures and requirements. Student will be encouraged to make decisions that support their goals, abilities and aspirationsProvide academic advice in selection of quality text books all classes.Provide Advice to design the school Manual describing the duties and responsibility and accountability of each person who are on rolls of the school.Provide measurement of quality of teaching of the teaching faculty. Help the faculty in designing the pedagogy for students understanding.Constantly monitor the teacher’s performance and design practical classes for improvement.
