About Steve Estabrook

With Information Technology experience ranging from Operations to Management, my primary business specialty is to facilitate effective communication during the application development and enhancement lifecycle. This communication ranges from both visual and written specifications for the developer to written (both text and visually based) for the business area. This information is delivered using interactive online knowledgebases and other multimedia-style aids that provide relevant information to the business area. With experience gained from many roles (developer, tester, trainer and systems analyst) I am able to take complex technical concepts and produce effective visual and written representations that contribute to successful project implementations - and when possible even try to have fun doing it.But beyond this short explanation lies additional skills that do not usually fit within an IT defined role. How about a marketing perspective? A creative design element? Or how about an awareness of branding? These do not fit in traditional IT role buckets we all are forced to fit into – but these skills have enabled my deliverables to get the attention of both IT and User staff members. They are stories of the pain, observations on the experience and most of all - the story of an amazing relationship. Facing Grief - The Podcast brings the essays to life as the author presents audio versions of selected essays. The journey can unfold chronologically following each daily episode or topically - focusing on several themes with essays that support each theme.As of August 12, 2020 "Facing Grief - The Podcast" began weekly episodes on Soundcloud, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Podcasts and Facebook. The 67 episodes used in the podcast ended their release on November 21, 2021. All 67 episodes remain on the site for reference.On March 12, 2022, Facing Grief - Selected Essays was published through Apple iTunes Connect.On November 9, 2022, Facing Grief - The Hardest Days was published through Apple iTunes Connect.Additional podcasts have been loaded as chapters from the Published Apple Books as Audio Book "drafts" and have reached those on their grief journey listrening from locations throughout the world.It is our prayer that you might find comfort, insight and understanding as you experience this most awful of places.
