In this role I manage several key experiential learning programs in the College of Arts & Sciences. One of the largest programs I oversee is the A&S and Student Assembly Summer Experience Grant that awards over $500,000 to students each summer for unpaid and underpaid experiences. The other large program is the Nexus Scholars program that gives students a chance to do research within the humanities and sciences over the summer.

In the Spring of 2012 I completed an auxiliary assignment with Career Services where I learned the essentials to career counseling. I worked with students on resume and cover letter reviews, assisted them in job searches, utilized tools such as MBTI and Strong inventory to assist in their career and major search, as well as performed mock interview with students. All of these experiences enhanced my ability to support students in their career development.
