It supports the unmanned systems community through communication, education, and leadership. The organization serves a membership of more than 7,000 people from 60 countries. Based in the U.S., the association has two regional affiliates, Unmanned Systems Canada and AUVS-Australia, and 26 International Member Groups (chapters).

Directing the Washington Autonomous Vehicle Cluster (WAV-C) program at the Kitsap Economic Development Alliance (KEDA). WAV-C is tasked with growing a thriving, best-in-class innovation cluster in the maritime autonomous vehicles industry. The focus is on Seeding a center of gravity for the industry and its future growth in Washington State and beyond by generating value for Washington and the Pacific Northwest region. Bringing together corporate, entrepreneurial, academic, governmental, and financial cluster members to rapidly overcome challenges and create shared resources. Convening consultation groups on next-generation propulsion systems, fuel systems, energy, and navigation systems. Working closely with the Washington Department of Commerce’s Innovation Cluster Accelerator Program (ICAP) and maintaining compliance with the grant contract. Demonstrating leadership in innovation and building relationships internationally through shared innovation project management.
