I organize and manage the editorial environment for Promo Editing. I write, edit, and produce promos, behind the scenes videos, and other marketing material. I develop and document departmental processes, and troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in our production environment. I served on the Editorial Environment Advisory Committee, defining the future of our digital workspace.I develop tools and AI-assisted workflows to improve people's lives: improving the creative environment, addressing inefficiencies, and freeing up valuable time for our creative resources.

I started small, as part of a highly adaptable team providing technical solutions, planning, and media wrangling to the larger CBS Marketing team. I was respected by both engineers and creatives as a jack-of-all-trades, and frequently called on to handle odd problems without obvious solutions. Later, my role grew to service desk management within the Eyelink Technical Group at CBS Marketing, responsible for media traffic and library management as well as developing and implementing future systems and technologies for CBS's Marketing workflows. My team of 4 was directly responsible for day-to-day media needs of editors and creatives in an Avid-based post-production environment.To drive growth and reduce expenses for the department I created automated transcode and file-management toolsets, moved the operation into digital and cloud storage, and designed and implemented our Jira Service Desk.From about 2014-on, I was the technical production manager for lower thirds on-air marketing packages.

This customer facing service role required my skills in triage, creative problem solving, and repair management. My key success factors were empathy, distilling complex ideas into easy to understand information, patience under pressure, and client advocacy.

This was a fun gig. I helped in all aspects of motion capture. In pre-production, I'd set up the capture space, prepare wardrobe, set up the capture server.During production, I'd prepare talent for performance, direct action for good capture, run the capture rig and log shots.In post-production, I'd process, clean and enhance performance data, rig models and deliver to clients.

I worked on a number of small commercial projects, including Infomercials, web-video content, and short-form entertainment. Responsibilities varied by project but covered typical production assistant duties - shooting video, writing and conducting interviews, recording audio, rigging lights, and logging footage.Clients included Harris Done, Clearchannel Media, and others.

I created an event planning, logistics and promotional company for the North Nevada Rally off-road automobile and motorcycle race, from the ground up. I organized the business, and was directly responsible for branding, graphic design, event sales, public relations, business planning and execution, accounting, and setting guidelines for future growth. We held two safe, successful, and exciting races under my direction, and grew to provide planning and support services to other Rally events across the southwest.

I provided On-site Technical Support and Repair services for copiers, printers, and systems and networks supporting them. I provided document logistics consulting for large and small client groups, in an effort to improve business efficiency. The variety of our clients granted me experience in network infrastructure and hardware, AD, AS/400, mixed use and mixed OS environments (Windows of various flavors, Mac OS, and Unix).

I increased awareness of Apple products and services on the University of Georgia campus. I aided in purchase of Apple products and services by UGA Students for personal use, and designed solutions for faculty and staff for institutional use. To drive awareness and fill support gaps, I created a technical service outlet for Apple users on campus.

I provided IT Consulting services, and Document logistics and archiving services for medical and business documents. Clients Included Athens Cardiovascular/Thoracic Center and the administrative offices of R.E.M.

I coordinated an annual film festival event with location hosts, chaperoned celebrity judges and festival attendees. I planned and provided entertainment, transportation, and security.
