Undergraduate Researcher
Current● Undergraduate researcher under Dr. Howie Huang, Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Director of the GraphLab at The George Washington University.● Research and application of just-in-time assembly code generation to accelerate Sparse Matrix-Matrix Multiplication on the GPU. This includes designing a workload scheduling algorithm for GPUs, implementation of GPU memory allocation and management techniques, automating the generation of CUDA (C++) code for GPUs, and performance evaluation and analysis.● Research and report on recent academic literature to gain a deep understanding of emerging techniques in the field of machine learning.● Work closely with PhD students on projects involving large language model reduction, large language model communication, and negative image generation.● Develop an independent research project to pursue full time during the summer of 2024.
