--Oversee 50+ hourly employees, deployed throughout 8 different departments --Create a weekly work schedule for hourly employees --Responsible for all inventory, as well as conducting inventory in the restaurant for each Financial Period --Hiring of new employees, as well as terminations and disciplinary action--Seek new areas for revenue and top-line sales throughout the unit’s community --Create a yearly budget for the unit, including budgeted sales, labor dollars and percentage, supply cost, food cost, utilities cost, Workman’s Compensation, and bottom line profit --Attend and participate in official state unemployment hearings --Design and execute efficient in-restaurant communication systems in order to keep hourly employees informed of changes and regulations --Responsible for maintaining the on-site cash, including cash drawers, safe, and bank deposits --Regularly inspect all in-house equipment, as well as the physical structure of the building and the exterior grounds, and arrange for repairs or preventative maintenance --Ensure all Human Relations regulations are being followed --Delegate and assign tasks to ensure the cleanliness and food safety of the unit --Project weekly and daily sales, labor percentage, productivity, and average hourly rate for the unit, taking into account current trends and historical data for the individual unit --Interface with customers, handling and resolving complaints or questions--Conduct initial interviews of employment candidates and present General Manager with my findings --Run shift, daily, and weekly financials in accordance with projections --Complete assigned tasks, including: conducting periodic employee reviews, create systems for cleanliness and efficiency, complete employee paperwork and maintain employee files, undertake a monthly uniform and dish/plate inventory, oversee the training of all employees --Ensure all inventory in the unit does not exceed or fall short of the unit’s projected budget
