In June 2020, I became Wolfpack Motorsports' Aerodynamics Lead. My goals for the full team were: Justifying new changes throughout the design phase and improving communication between subsystems.My goals for the Aero team were: Design a balanced and high-performing aero package through the use of a turning-car simulation in CFD as well as validating the aero package through track data.During the 2021 season, I led my teammates to design and manufacture the Aero package for the car. The Aero package was shown to make 85 lbs of downforce at 40 mph at A2 Wind Tunnel. This data also successfully validated our CFD data. It was also shown through on track testing that the Aero package made a significant difference in laptimes.
