Breathe.Feel.Love started with an ambitious Canadian tour of John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask's cult-classic rock musical Hedwig & The Angry Inch in 2010, which visited cities across Ontario and Manitoba. It took on the challenge of presenting the show in venues of widely varying size and shape – those usually suited for rock bands but not conventional spaces for a theatrical show. The unqualified success of this venture at Winnipeg's Pyramid Cabaret led to a re-mount in that space during the 2011 Winnipeg Fringe Festival – a sold-out smash success – in addition to a very well-received one-night engagement at Montreal's Le National, and a unique outdoor performance on the main stage of Ottawa's Capital Pride Festival.
