Seth joined the U.S. Attorney’s Office in 2008. Most recently, he served as Chief of the Criminal Division, where he supervised all of the investigations and prosecutions by the U.S. Attorney’s Office across a wide range of practice areas, which include terrorism, cybercrime, corporate and securities fraud, public corruption, international narcotics trafficking, civil rights violations, and violent and organized crime. Most recently, he served as Chief of the Criminal Division, where he supervised all of the investigations and prosecutions by the U.S. Attorney’s Office across a wide range of practice areas, which include terrorism, cybercrime, corporate and securities fraud, public corruption, international narcotics trafficking, civil rights violations, and violent and organized crime. Seth has served in the General Crimes, Violent Crimes and Terrorism, and National Security and Cybercrime Sections. Seth has held several senior supervisory positions with the Office prior to his current appointment, including Chief of the National Security and Cybercrime Section. He also has served as the Office’s National Security Cyber Specialist and representative on the Anti-Terrorism Advisory Council. Before joining the Office, Seth served as a Deputy U.S. Marshal, clerked for the Hon. Richard Owen in the Southern District of New York and was employed as an associate at the law firm of Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett, LLP.
