I co-founded Mallard in 2017 in partnership with NGP. I served as CFO from inception through business sale in 2023. The business grew over six dynamic years ultimately reaching ~$500M in annual revenue, over $300M in annual EBITDAX, and production of ~20,000 barrels oil equivalent (boe) per day.The key accomplishments I have driven during this role were: Closed multiple credit agreements, including a $65M term loan and upsized equity commitment in support of Mallard's first full-development pad drilling program in 2019, plus syndicated Reserve Based Loans (RBLs) in 2018 and 2020. Liquidated entire crude oil hedge book within 48 hours of crude closing at -$37/bbl, sold minority Joint Venture midstream interest and leveraged proceeds to repay debt to exit COVID crisis debt-free. Sold company in 2023 with attractive cumulative equity returns.

During this tenure, I served as critical member of three-person finance team and raised $2.6B in public and private capital to fund an incredibly fast-paced acquisitive upstream and midstream oil and gas company.My achievements for this role have been: Raised $2.6B in capital to support six acquisitions and significant capital expenditures Volunteered as Corporate Secretary, presided at board meetings, as well as authored board resolutions and minutes from company inception through taking company public in 2016 Volunteered to learn and manage company's insurance program, including $200M+ in aggregate limit. Participated in Nasdaq bell ringing ceremony commemorating Extractions 2016 IPO; first oil and gas IPO in over two years.

In this role, I collaborated with numerous international commercial banks with a focus on procuring a large, syndicated project financing facility to assist with development of gold mine.The values I have driven during this role were: Planned and headed several trips to Sydney for meeting with large multi-national corporate banks focusing on project finance as well as hosted banks for asset tour in Katherine, NT demonstrating project feasibility. Assisted in raising ~$35M in public equity from bank-led private placement. Steered search for project financing for Vista's $1B Mt; Todd gold project in NT Australia. Generated significant bank interest in challenging gold project in Australia.
