As the Director of Choral Activities at Pine View School (PVS), I teach 5 choirs and AP Music Theory. The PVS choirs travel all over the state of Florida performing and competing. In addition to my music responsibilities, I am the faculty representative to the Pine View Association (our PTO) and a Survival Trainer who assists knew teachers in accessing and utilizing the district's technology. For the 2015-2016 school year, I was selected for the Technology Trailblazer program and received a classroom set of MS Surfaces to create a digital/cloud based environment for AP Music Theory.

In 2008, Woodland Middle School (WMS) was a brand new and I had the opportunity to start both the band and choir programs from scratch. The choir grew to receive "Superiors" ratings at the Florida Vocal Associations District 11 Music Performance Assessments and traveled to Disney World twice, where they worked with professional Disney musicians. While at WMS, I was selected as the 2010 Sarasota County Teacher of the year, which gave me the opportunity to advocate for teachers and education across Sarasota County.In addition to teaching choral music, I also taught Television Broadcast and Guitar.

I was the director of Choral Activities at at Heron Creek Middle School (HCMS) and the the Yamaha Music In Education instructor for their brand new piano keyboard lab.

While at Battle Creek Central High School (BCCHS), I had the opportunity to grow the choral program and assist in developing the Battle Creek Central Fine Arts Academy. My responsibilities included:- Directing A Cappella Choir, Blue and Chorale and the Bearcat Chorale- Vocal Director for the Spring Musical- Vocal Director for the the BCCHS Band Follies - Producer for the BCC Fine Arts Academy Annual Report at Kellogg Community College- Coordinated Katrina Benefit Concert with Lakeview, Pennfield and Harper Creek High Schools- A Capella Choir Performed at Carnegie Hall (2006)
