Responsibilities and Accomplishments: Lead Developer for corporate imaging project including design, software development, debugging, testing, documentation and maintenance tasks. Customized the client-server Kofax Scan System using C#,VB.NET,VB6, Basic and SQL Server based on user requirements of initial design then on iterative development methodology. Designed and created Windows Application to import Word documents based on user request with VB.Net(using Visual Studio Tools for Office) for Word 2007 and using VB6 for Word XP. Designed and created Password Modification XML tool to facilitate deployment of Kofax upgrades in different systems (development, test or production). Tool created based on my analysis of deployment issues. This is a Winforms program created with C#. Created Web Service consumer using a .Net DLL developed with WSDL and C#. Responsibilities and Accomplishments: Participated in the full SDLC for NC DOT engineering and project management efforts, including design, software development, debugging, testing, documentation and maintenance tasks. Gathered and documented business and technical requirements, and performed project management tasks for software projects. Created documentation and provided end-user training and support. Designed and developed a Project Management Program with a VB6 (ADO) Windows Client and Oracle Database. Designed the Relational Database for this project using PL/SQL. The project was used by many engineering departments to track project milestones and project workload. Project Reports are produced in Excel and Access from templates and ad-hoc queries. Responsible for ongoing enhancements and maintenance for the Project Management application: adding new engineering departments, creating new tables, adding reports and integrating with department Access Databases. Created documentation and user training for the Project Management Program. Received DOT Award for the Project Management Program version used by the Traffic Systems department. Designed and developed a C#, Access and Crystal Report program that tracks properties and owners for the Survey Department. Assisted in the development of an automated Bridge Design System using C and MicroStation in a UNIX development environment. Received DOT Award for work on this project. Developed Sign Layout Spreadsheet in Excel. Won DOT award.
