After a short assignment pulling fiber optic cable for a new data center under Team Fishel through TEKsystems, I accepted an assignment helping the Department of Defense Supply Center of Columbus (DSCC) I.T. department with their Windows 10 update.In addition to the operating system upgrade, a hardware upgrade was also included. More than 4000 computers were involved, most of which were "thin clients," though there were also "thick," and "zero," clients included as well.In the first phase of the roll-out, I was also tapped to be one of the "walkers" on the floor - a tech that the D.O.D. help desk staff specifically educated so that we could be more helpful with the common issues that may happen while delivering new hardware to the users.We are currently in the ending phases of the Windows 10 rollout on the base, scheduled to be finished near the end of April.

I was responsible for setting up, maintaining, and flagging safe traffic in road construction zones. Daily discussions of best practices with an eye for trouble spots and unique circumstances. Taking instruction from the foreman on duty, would constantly monitor worksite for developing needs with regards to safety issues, traffic congestion, work needs, and company/industry practices.

Started as a counselor in three consecutive 1-week long day camps . Soon trained on safety and facilitation of high-ropes courses. Current responsibilities include facilitation of high- and low- ropes courses, team-building activities, maintenance of courses and grounds, and helping to facilitate various entertainment venues with the sister company, Supergames.Emphasis first on safety, then on Group Cohesion, Teamwork, Communication, Leadership, and many other qualities that groups ask for.

Assisted the lead teacher full-time in a classroom of up to 14 children (based on enrollment). Primary responsibilities included maintaining/cleaning the classroom, developing relationships and interacting with children in a positive way, and ensuring the safety of all children. Also integral was relationships developed with parents, and following the parent’s lead on issues for each individual child.During my short time here before I was laid off, I attended several professional development classes, and became certified in CPR (including Child CPR), First Aid, and Child abuse Recognition/Prevention.

Facilitated the climbing wall part-time at the Douglas Recreation Center in South Linden. Applied many skills and principles gained from previous positions, primarily serving the younger children in the neighborhood. During the summer of 2012, applied the same skills to the portable climbing wall, visiting every recreation center in Columbus and many festivals over the course of the season.
