At Envista Forensics I gained great research, legal, and industry experience. While an intern I worked on my own research capstone project. I conducted forensic investigation of a wide variety of materials which could then lead to liturgy. This included the investigation of fracture surfaces of polymers such as polyethylene used in PEX piping, copper from bust piping, ceramics in floors and toilets, dishwasher leaks, hot water heater leaks and fires, kitchen range fires, and so much more.I wrote reports on my findings, and submitted these conclusions to the insured and insurance company who would use my findings as a third-party unbiased judgment to pursue final legal action of payment or a possible action of deposition. Additionally, I worked with AREPA (Envista's sister company) to evaluate on site damage to insured property. I conducted on site investigations where I gave an actual cash value and total loss single number, and this number is used to determine a replacement or repair.

I implemented 5S knowledge and learned quality control techniques which involve Six Sigma methods. I implemented LEAN methodology to increase productivity and streamline processes. Daily tasks ranged from designing new and re-envisioned pipe fittings, tracking engineering tasks, working on R&D projects, and assisting in facility maintenance like electrical and HVAC.
